Reed Family Teacher Enrichment Fund
A grant for a teacher who has volunteered to serve on the MMTA Board to attend the MTNA National Conference. To find out how you may volunteer, contact President Alison Barr at president@mmta.net.
MMTA Commission
Each year a new work is commissioned from a Massachusetts composer, with a matching grant from the MTNA Foundation. Premier performance is at state convention, then entered in MTNA Shepherd Distinguished Composer of the Year contest. That winner receives an additional award and performance at national convention. The composer for 2007 is Dr. John McDonald, Associate Professor of Music at Tufts University.

Publications available to members include American Music Teacher (MTNA) and regular MMTA newsletters. Publications feature member and student activities, upcoming events, reviews of books, music, software, etc., articles of interest, association activities and information.
