2026 Musical Achievement Evaluations

The Musical Achievement Evaluations (MAE) will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 9:30 AM-4:30 PM at the Walnut Hill School for the Arts in Natick, MA. This is a non-competitive program, intended for students aged 5 to adult, to gain written and verbal constructive feedback from a highly qualified evaluator. All instrumentalists are welcome to apply and there is no required repertoire list. Students (along with their teachers, MMTA members and non-members alike) may select up to 2 pieces fitting within the time limit of their audition.

MMTA Members may select one of the following levels:

Group A: Ages 5-7; 7 minutes of playing + 8 minutes of feedback. Fee: $65.00

Group B: Ages 8-10; 7 minutes of playing + 8 minutes of feedback. Fee: $65.00

Group C: Ages 10 through adult; 9 minutes of playing + 11 minutes of feedback. Fee $75.00

Non-MMTA Members:

Group A: Ages 5-7; 7 minutes of playing + 8 minutes of feedback. Fee: $85.00

Group B: Ages 8-10; 7 minutes of playing + 8 minutes of feedback. Fee: $85.00

Group C: Ages 10 through adult; 9 minutes of playing + 11 minutes of feedback. Fee $95.00

The registration period will open on February 1, 2026, and close March 1, 2026.
