MMTA’s Music Connect Program

Over 60 students have received tuition-free lessons since this program’s inception in 2018.
Your MMTA Board and Music Connect Committee are proud to bring you a reimagined program that ensures scholarships are granted in a fair and fiscally responsible way. We are pleased to have accepted and approved EIGHT new applications for the grants since July 15, 2026, when applications opened.
Unfortunately, under our new guidelines, we are only able to approve these eight at this time.
We hope we can make more funds available SOON! Please check back here on October 1, 2026, for more information.
We are truly connected in our love of music-making and in the joy we feel when we help a student put music in their heart forever!
MMTA believes that any person who has musical ability and interest in playing an instrument or singing deserves the opportunity to explore this talent.
The MMTA Music Connect Program (MCP) offers music lessons tuition-free to students who have a demonstrated financial need and will study with an MMTA member in good standing.
Application Process:
Applications will be accepted from July 15th to September 12 of the current year.
