Congratulations to Sivan Etedgee, NCTM, on his professional achievement and becoming a nationally certified teacher in piano!

The new NCTM title speaks to his dedication and commitment to excellence in teaching.  Hopefully, he will serve as a role model for other MMTA members to pursue this professional designation.

Originally from Worcester, MA, Sivan teaches and performs in the Boston area. He works with students of all ages at his vibrant home studio in Newton, MA. Dedicated to serving the local piano community, Sivan served as President of the New England Piano Teachers’ Association (2021–23) and has been recognized multiple times as a Steinway & Sons “Top Teacher.” He lives in Newton with his wife, Sarah, his 9-year-old son, Manu, and their rescue dog, Mukhtar.
