MMTA Collegiate Member Travel Grant
A grant, $400 per applicant is available to MMTA Collegiate members for travel and lodging expenses for the MTNA National Conference.
Application Deadline: February 1st of current year
Eligibility:
Any Collegiate Member of MMTA/MTNA, in good standing.
Use of such funds would be governed by these criteria:
Applicants can NOT apply in any two consecutive years.
Due to limited funding, the application will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Applicants must scan and submit the following attachments with their application form:
Student ID
The official MTNA Conference Registration receipt
The hotel reservation confirmation
An Airline ticket receipt
Grant recipients must provide a brief written report of their Conference experience for publication in an MMTA newsletter by April 30 of the year the Conference is attended. Send to: newsletter@mmta.net
Grant recipients must also agree to complete 2 hours of volunteer service to MMTA (Bay State Contest, etc.) by the end of June, the year the Conference is attended.
Release of any and all funds will be on a reimbursement basis, in accordance with MMTA's accounting and IRS requirements. Checks will be mailed as reimbursements after the Conference, upon submission of the Conference report and verification that the two-hour volunteer has served.
