MMTA Reed Family Teacher Enrichment Fund
In honor of the memory of Irene Reed, esteemed MMTA member and recipient of the 2012 Lifetime Achievement Award: The Reed Family Fund awards a grant to attend the MTNA National Conference, to any MMTA member who has volunteered to serve on the MMTA Board.

Application Deadline: January 15th of current year
Eligibility:
Any MMTA member in good standing.
Applicants must be currently serving on the MMTA Board in the year of application.
A grant of $500 is available to any MMTA member who has served or is currently serving on the MMTA Board in good standing.
Due to limited funding, the application will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis, but will also be given priority to first-time applicants
Use of such funds would be governed by these criteria:

Applicant must agree to this statement in the following application form: "By signing this application, I verify that I will use awarded funds for their intended purpose and by the proposed date. If I do not use the awarded funds, I will return them to MMTA.”
Applicants must scan and submit the following attachments with their application form:
The official MTNA Conference Registration receipt
The hotel reservation confirmation
An Airline ticket receipt
Grant recipients must provide a brief written report of their Conference experience for publication in an MMTA newsletter by April 30 of the year the Conference is attended. Send to: newsletter@mmta.net
Release of any and all funds will be on a reimbursement basis, in accordance with MMTA's accounting and IRS requirements. Checks will be mailed as reimbursements after the Conference upon submission of a written report.
