MMTA’s Music Connect Program Accepting Applications July 15

In response to its unprecedented and wonderful success, since its inception in 2018, the MMTA Board of Directors decided in the fall of 2025, to take a fresh look at the requirements and offerings of our “jewel-in-the-crown” program offering tuition-free lessons to students experiencing financial need.  

MMTA’s Music Connect Program will be accepting NEW applications starting on July 15, 2026!  

Applications will be accepted until September 12, 2026

We are proud to report that over 60 students have received tuition-free lessons since this program’s inception in 2018!

Your MMTA Board and Music Connect Committee are thrilled to bring you this reimagined program, ensuring that scholarships are granted in a fair and fiscally responsible way.  Some of the guidelines are new; please read them all carefully as you apply.
